For over 45 years, the Veldsma family has provided quality seasonal products to all of you who need a reliable source for merchandise which could be shipped on a timely basis. We are proud of our ability to keep pace with a changing industry.

However, the time has come for me to stop and “smell the roses.” My “roses” will be spending more time with my family, especially the grandchildren, and playing some golf. This has been a major decision and it didn’t come easily, but my family also agreed it was a good time to step back. Therefore, on August 1, 2013, I retired and sold the family business.

I thought long and hard about the best person to whom to sell, and decided that Peak Seasons would best meet the needs of you, my customers. I have been doing business with Tom Leonard, the owner of Peak Seasons, for over twenty years. Many of the products you have purchased from Veldsma & Sons in the past were manufactured by Peak Seasons, which is a major provider of Christmas lot supplies in the United States.

I feel certain that Peak Seasons is the best possible choice to continue serving you, our valued customer, in the custom and manner of service which you received from Veldsma & Sons. The name of the company will be unchanged, and you will find many of the same voices providing customer service to you.
